Dear partners,
Welcome to 2017 – 2018 school year at Springfield Nursery School! Our team of teachers, teacher assistants, and administrative staff is eager to get the year started with our beloved kindergarteners and schoolers. We will work hard, challenge each other, build teamwork skills, and have fun this year!
We would also like to introduce to you the new members of our team: Maria Mirabela Popescu – teacher assistant who will be working with the after-school groups, Laura Tudor – teacher assistant who will be joining the preschool team, and Alina Negrutiu – English teacher and coordinator of extra-curricular activities. Corina Roman and Mona Vidrascu have chosen another career path. We wish them all the luck in the world and we offer them our gratitude for their splendid contribution to our development as an institution!
We will do our best to keep your child safe and happy this school year. We believe that open lines of communication between the parent, student, and the teachers are the key to promoting an educational climate that is conducive to learning. We are looking forward to working with you and your child. Together we can make a difference! You can help us by sending us well-rested children with a hug and a kiss still fresh on their minds. This sets the stage for a lovely day.
Kindergarten is a period for growing socially, emotionally, physically and intellectually. Your involvement, interest, and enthusiasm will help achieve this objective. Kindergarten is a child’s garden. Creativity is everywhere and, many time, the process is more important than the product. As you talk to your child about his day, do not forget to celebrate his best effort on the work he does.
That being said, may you have an exciting Springfield school year!
Sincerely,
Mihaela White
